Education:
Doctor of Psychology (PsyD), 2012 University of Indianapolis Master of Arts, 2009 Clinical Psychology University of Indianapolis Bachelor of Arts, 2007 Psychology Purdue University Experience: After finishing my graduate degree, I worked at Western Washington University in Prevention & Wellness Services as a Violence Prevention Specialist. In this role, I supported student survivors of DV/SA and facilitated violence prevention workshops for students, staff, and faculty. In 2016, I decided to open a private practice to focus more on working with trauma in a clinical setting and to have more autonomy in my work. Outside of my practice, I'm a Senior Instructor in the Psychology Department at WWU and have been teaching since 2016. I love the environment of a college campus and appreciate being able to share my knowledge of clinical psychology with students. I am also a part of Bellingham's Sexual & Domestic Violence Commission. Being a part of this group gives me an opportunity to work towards making positive changes in our community - with the goal of ending domestic violence and sexual assault. Additionally, I provide trainings and workshops to agencies who are seeking to learn how to be more "trauma-informed" in various ways. More information about the trainings I've hosted can be found here. On a personal note, my favorite way to spend my time is with my two dogs, Little Ladle and Turkey.
